This is a wonderful idea! I travel a lot, and always read something that takes place in the country I am in – The Shadow of the Wind in Barcelona, Spain; The Passion of Artemisia in Italy; the Girl with the Pearl Earring in Holland… and so on. Look forward to your posts.
Thanks! I enjoyed The Shadow of the Wind also, but that was before I started World Lit Up so you won’t find it on my blog. I bet that reading those books while absorbing the atmosphere of the place adds a whole other facet to your travel experience. Lucky dog!
This is a wonderful idea, how inspiring. I, too travel quite a bit and love to get insights into places, it makes them even more magical to see. I am studying right now, so will have to resist your book list as I have too much to read right now, but well done to you!
There are so many tempting books out there… I just read an excerpt from one called Escape from Camp 14 about a young man who broke out of a North Korean prison camp, but I’ve already covered North Korea! So that one will have to wait…

Thanks for taking a break from studying to visit my blog! I think there will always be too many books and not enough time…

This is such a great idea! I have a huge list to read at the moment but you have inspired me to try and do the same!
